Willamette Acupuncture & Wellness is a family-owned and operated clinic in Dallas, OR. Gabe Prewitt and Lyndsay Posey are a husband and wife acupuncturist team that opened the doors to Willamette Acupuncture and Wellness in 2011. Ann Holland, our massage therapist, and Lyndsay Posey were both born and raised in Dallas and enjoy giving back to the community they grew up in.
Gabriel Prewitt L.Ac, is a nationally licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist. He holds a Masters degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine and a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Oregon. Gabe has also completed post-graduate training in China at the Beijing Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital.
Gabe focuses his practice on the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders and pain management, although he is able to treat a wide variety of ailments including digestive disorders, infertility, immune disorders, side effects from chemo and radiation, women’s health and stress related disorders. His diverse and comprehensive training allows him to create focused treatments that are individually tailored to each patient. Gabe uses Acupuncture, Acupressure, Tui Na (Chinese Medical Massage), and a variety of other techniques to promote patient health. As a licensed herbalist, Gabe also uses food, herbs and supplements to optimize physical recovery and promote long term health for his patients.
Lyndsay Posey is a nationally licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist, with a Masters Degree in Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. She is originally from Dallas and completed her undergraduate studies from the University of Oregon. During her four years of graduate study in San Diego, Lyndsay focused on the treatment of women's health disorders, anxiety and pain management. She specializes in pain management, fertility, menopause, and menstrual disorders, athough she has successfully treated a wide range of disorders from digestive problems to insomnia. In the fall of 2011, she and her husband, Gabe Prewitt, traveled to China where they had the privilege to study at the Beijing TCM Hospital. During their internship they studied with physicians specializing in neurological disorders and learned the latest techniques in the field of pain management.
Lyndsay was first introduced to Oriental medicine through her own positive experience with acupuncture. She is committed to sharing the benefits of acupuncture and natural healing with the community. She strongly believes in integrating Eastern and Western approaches to healing, and patient education. Empowering each patient with the knowledge of how to maintain optimum health is her priority.
Ann graduated from Everest Institute in Tigard, Oregon in July of 2012. She specializes in Deep Tissue, Therapeutic, Swedish and Thai on a table. She is excited to share her gift of massage with everyone and to help people find balance in their lives. She is a wife and mother who enjoys being outdoors but also enjoys curling up with a good book. She has always had a deep love for massage and loves making people happy whether it's baking a goodie for them, or giving them a good foot rub!
